Despite its lack of an integral Level 2 cache, Intel's Celeron processor still requires cooling hardware. To that end, a new Celeron cooler has been developed that attaches to the CPU using patented clip technology. These Sunon products are cap-fan/heatsink assemblies that are said to allow for easy installation and removal.By mounting the cooler directly atop the Celeron module, the system's external forced airflow breaks down and pushes away the heated air circulating around the cooler and carries fresh air to the fan on top of the heatsink. The results are said to be significantly better than the heatsink-only approach with little or no external air flow.
