Comprising 36 models, the TMR6 series of fully regulated, wide-input dc-dc converters provides 6 W of power in a compact SIP8 package. The isolated converters, developed by Power Sources Unlimited, cover four 2:1 input voltage ranges (4.5 V dc up to 75 V dc) and nine output voltages: 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15, 24, ±5, ±12, and ±15 V dc. Operating temperature ranges from −40° to +65°C (without power derating). I/O isolation is 1500 V dc. Other features include continuous short-circuit protection and remote on/off control. IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 compliance is pending. The device will suit communication-equipment, instrumentation, and industrial-electronics applications with tight space requirements.
