We receive a ton of new product announcements every day, and we spotlight the most innovative and useful items on electronicdesign.com and in our “Products of the Week” e-mail newsletters. To compile this list, we selected the items designated as components posted over the past 12 months and ranked them based on their Web traffic. Next, we surveyed readers and asked them to choose their favorites overall and in several categories, such as accelerometers, connectors, enclosures, sensors, and switches. We then tallied these votes, and the table presents the results.
