Managing temperature and noise in notebook and desktop PCs, the aSC7512 and aMC8500 controllers provide accurate temperature sensing, precision system control, plus acoustic and cooling management, made possible via the company's ThermalEdge technology. The aSC7512 integrates remote temperature sensing with automatic fan speed control. Temperature sensing is accurate to ±1°C. The aMC8500 provides motor control for brushless dc fan applications. Features include dual 0.5Ω MOSFET motor drives, selectable slope, programmable minimum speed, Hall amplifier with proprietary noise immunity circuitry, and a selectable automatic power-down mode. Prices for the aSC7512 and aMC8500 are $1.50 and $1.45 each/1,000, respectively. ANDIGILOG, Tempe, AZ. (480) 940-6200.
