Available in a package measuring just 38 mm in diameter and 22 mm high, the DataTorque HS15 digital encoder is designed for applications that include semiconductor processing, medical instrumentation, auto- mation, and robotics. The encoder provides digital feedback with a resolution up to 4,096 lines.
Output options include single-ended and RS422A differential line drivers. Available in voltages of 5V or 5 to 26 Vdc, the component is constructed of a conductive carbon-fiber composite with integral EMI immunity and IP 50 sealing capabilities.
