Claimed to be the world's first unipolar 2-phase/4-phase motor drivers to successfully reach a maximum equiangular nano-resolution of 200,000 steps/revolution, the new INS20 NanoDrive series is available in both ac and dc versions for flexible integration to power stepper motors in NEMA sizes 17 and 23, of the 4-, 6- and 8-lead variety. The CE-rated drivers offer 16 equiangular resolution setting controls (via a DIP switch, programmable from 1/1 step to 1/1,000 step. With a single intelligent torque chip in each driver series, resolution settings are programmable to rotate the attached motor 360° with a 100% success rate of achieving equiangular-controlled steps for each step of the entire rotational cycle.
