Single-Axis Actuator Family Expands

Enlarging the company's single-axis actuator line, the LX Series is now available with a choice of standard or covered styles in three capacities with lower stage heights, dowel holes in the base plate, and configurable base lengths down to 10-mm increments. Features include an extruded, black chrome plated base with a two-row gothic arch rail system, a precision ball screw with built-in angular and radial contact bearings in the support, a motor bracket supporting most servos and steppers, and a ball-screw nut and linear guide mechanism. Additionally, the covered version features a patent-pending design where the cover and flanged top plate interface together for a lower profile and lower overall stage height. The actuators are available in 100-mm to 600-mm lengths with one or two blocks standard and 1-, -, 5-, or 10-mm leads. Single-unit prices start at $460. MISUMI USA INC., Schaumburg, IL.
