Three new platforms have been added to the company’s line of large, free-standing A38 and A38D Type 1 enclosures. A two-door general-purpose enclosure and a line of one- and two-door disconnect enclosures round out the A38 line as an economical alternative for applications that don’t require sealed enclosures. The They are designed to protect a wide variety of equipment in commercial buildings, as well as cleaner industrial environments such as warehouses, assembly areas and electrical/mechanical rooms. These enclosures are suited for applications such as power distribution, main control, variable frequency drives, custom motor control centers, marshalling cabinets, or lighting control. Combining rigid construction with modern, clean lines, the expanded selection is designed to accommodate everything from traditional industrial components to more modern equipment profiles used in lean manufacturing environments. Features include an integral 10-gauge steel base, lifting tabs, durable three-point latch with padlock provision, flush reversible doors, and a choice of panel or rack mount provisions to accommodate 19" or 23" rack equipment.
