Adding to the MDrivePlus product line, the MDrive14Plus integrated motion controller measures 48 mm x 36 mm x 52 mm, making it the smallest member of the group. The unit employs a NEMA size 14 brushless, 1.8° motor along with a programmable controller and easy-to-program instruction set. Communications is over RS-422/485 or an optional CANopen interface. Other features include up to eight 5V to +24V GPIO lines, one 10-bit analog input, a 0 to 5-MHz step clock rate, and 20 micro-step resolutions up to 51,200 steps per revolution. Optional closed-loop control adds stall detection, position maintenance, and a find-index mark. The component accepts an input-voltage range from 12 to 48 Vdc and specifies an operating range temperature range from -40° to +85°C. INTELLIGENT MOTION SYSTEMS INC., Marlborough, CT.
