Module Controls Three-Phase Brushless Motors

Sept. 1, 2000

Specifically designed for operating fractional and integral horsepower motors, the CMI-5015-48 motor control module is said to be ideally suited for high-performance, three-phase brushless motor control applications, including robotics, electromechanical valve assemblies, battery-operated motors, fans and blowers, and battery operated vehicles. This is a plug-and-play module that requires a single 22- to 48-V power supply to operate a three-phase brushless dc motor and three 15-V CMOS-compatible, open-collector hall devices are required for commutation. An internal 15-V reference can supply up to 100 ma. Pricing is $375 each/1000 and delivery is from stock to four weeks ARO.
