Support for Motorola's MPC850 family of embedded PowerPC processors is provided by DriveWay-MPC850, a tool that provides high-performance device drivers for the 850s' USB capabilities in addition to other peripherals. The software enables designers to quickly integrate the MCUs into their LAN-to-WAN internetworking products. Its platform-independent API lets users migrate application code from one family of processors to another, saving months of development time.
