Developed to provide a low-cost solution for driving both windings of a bipolar stepper motor, A3966SA (DIP) and A3966SLB (SOIC) dual full-bridge PWM motor driver ICs feature two full H-bridges and internal fixed-frequency PWM current-control circuits. The H-bridges are each capable of continuous output currents of ±650 mA and operating voltages up to 30V. The low output saturation voltages are achieved using proprietary Satlington sink drivers. This output structure combines the low voltage drop of a saturated transistor with the high current capability of a Darlington driver.
