Minimal magnetic cogging at low speeds is just one of the features of the LO-COG Series 8000 brush-commutated, dc permanent magnetic servo motors, which is also said to offer long, maintenance-free operation. The family of motors provide high performance and reliability for a wide range of applications, including computer peripherals, imaging equipment, clinical diagnostic and automatic test equipment, and factory automation. The motors can achieve stall torques from 5.05 to 16.8 oz-in. and no-load speeds from about 7700 to 10,650 rpm for standard motors at rated voltages. Speed, voltage, current and torque characteristics can be varied to meet specific needs. All motors can be customized with a variety of options, including spur gearheads and optical encoders.
