The AMT303 series commutation encoder generates standard U/V/W commutation signals for vectoring current to brushless motors. Resolutions can be set through the component’s SPI while commutation output can accommodate brushless motors with two-, four-, six-, eight-, or 10-pole pairs, also selectable via the SPI. Supplementary incremental A, B, and Z channels are available for various servo positioning and startup sequences. Additional options include nine mounting patterns and ten bore sizes. The AMT303 and its demo kit are available with prices starting at $46 per unit. CUI INC., Tualatin, OR. (800) 275-4899.
