Compact Motor Is Big On Torque

Aug. 3, 2010
The Super Torque 5818 stepper motor series measures in at a 2.4”, but delivers up to 305 oz.-in. of holding torque.

The Super Torque 5818 stepper motor series measures in at a 2.4”, but delivers up to 305 oz.-in. of holding torque. The series is slightly larger than existing 5718 step motors.  They share the same mounting as the 5718 motor series, yet provide up to 50% more torque due to a slightly larger body. Bipolar and uni-polar windings are available with custom windings available at no extra cost. LIN ENGINEERING, Morgan Hill, CA. (408) 919-0200.
