The Pittman Series 8690 brush-commutated dc motors offer smooth and quiet operation in a compact package. The 26-mm motors feature seven-slot skewed armatures, resin-impregnated, diamond-turned commutators, and are available in three lengths: 1.798”, 1.923”, and 2.173”. They deliver continuous torque up to 3.17 oz.-in., peak torque to 20 oz.-in., and speeds to 9,000 rpm. Also, a cartridge brush assembly reduces audible and electrical noise while improving brush life by maintaining optimum brush force. AMETEK TECHNICAL & INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS, Kent, OH. (877) 748-8626.
