Taking position in the ACZ series mechanical encoders is a 9-mm addition. The two-bit quadrature ACZ09 series encoder is configurable into over 1,000 different versions.  The encoders have a rotational life of 30,000 cycles and employ metal materials where similar models employ plastic. Options for the series include detent, a push button, vertical or right angle mounting, and numerous shaft configurations. Resolutions include 10, 15, and 20 PPR.  Prices start at $4.52 each.
