Sporting a separate line-driver output, the AMT303LD series commutation encoders generate position information using a patented, capacitive code generation system coupled with a proprietary ASIC. Resolution can be set through the AMT303 Demo Kit.  Commutation output can accommodate brushless motors with two-, four-, six-, eight-, 10-, or 20-pole pairs and is also selectable via the AMT303LD Demo Board.  Also, the device offers complimentary incremental A/A, B/B, and Z/Z channels for various servo positioning and startup sequences.
