Qualtek’s HPLC series of ac and dc axial fans meet international standard IEC 60529 for dust, moisture, and direct water exposure, and are certified to IP56’s harsh-environment standards (as well as IP54 and IP55). The FDA2 series of FPLC ac fans, which range in size from 172 to 280 mm, incorporate a thermal-protected external rotor capacitor-run induction-motor, two-ball-bearing system with an available 100,000-hour bearing option. Other features include an aluminum alloy frame, one-piece forged-steel impeller, and optional UL94V-0 plastic impeller for increased airflow. The FDD1 series of HPLC dc fans integrate an IC-protected, brushless dc, two-ball-bearing system with an available 100,000-hour bearing option. Also featuring an aluminum alloy frame, one-piece forged-steel impeller, and optional plastic impeller, the dc fans come with alarm, tachometer, and pulse-width-modulation (PWM) configurations.
