The new Model 6405 Insulation Piercing Test Clip set is ideally suited for a variety of field applications including automotive test and diagnosis, telecommunications diagnosis and repair, and electronic and industrial test and measurement set-ups.
Designed with a spring-loaded clamp and screw-in barrel, the piercing clips allow the user to provide the exact pressure needed to pierce the insulation of a wide range of wire types and sizes. Intended for making temporary connections in the field, the test clips feature a safety-rated shrouded banana jack that is compatible with virtually all industry-standard banana plugs. Test clip sets are priced at $38 per set (includes a black and a red clip).
