With an eye on user safety, the Powerpole 15/45 power connectors are designed to prevent finger access when the connector is unmated and energized. The connectors meet the accessibility protection requirements of UL1977 sec 10.2. They utilize a flat wiping contact system that exhibits reduced contact resistance at high current, while the wiping action cleans the contact surface during connection and disconnection. Rated for continuous operation at 600V ac/dc, the connectors are available in current ratings of 15A, 30A and 45A and wire sizes of #10 to #20 AWG. Other features include a gender-less design and molded dovetails to secure the connectors into keyed assemblies. Options include low-detent contacts for applications requiring low insertion and withdrawal force. ANDERSON POWER PRODUCTS, Sterling, MA. (978) 422-3600.
