A line of ESD-safe fluid dispensing components helps reduce the possibility of damage from electrostatic discharge during electronic assembly operations. Designed for use with air-powered equipment, the line's tips, barrels and adapters perform accurate dispensing of epoxies and other assembly fluids. A carbon-black additive that's specially formulated for electroconductive applications is used as the means of static dissipation. During the application process, the tip, barrel and adapter work together as a complete system to maintain continuity from dispensing tip through ground strap. Average surface resistivity is 1 x 109 and static decay rate is less than 0.08 seconds.
