Using the Camden CTB1301/2301 series of plug-in terminal blocks, designers can address low-cost applications calling for plug-in terminals. To keep costs down, these terminal blocks are used in combination with simple Camden pin-strip headers (CTB1301P) mounted on the PCB. The terminal block can thus be easily assembled and un-plugged during servicing and maintenance. The CTB1301/2301 series terminal blocks are available in two standard pitches of 5 mm and 10 mm in a range of sizes from one to 12 poles. The two- to 12-pole versions are formed by two- and three-pole individual interlocking blocks which are pre-assembled before delivery. Single-pole models are offered in two widths of 10 mm or 15 mm. Built of black flame-retardant polyester (UL 94 V-0), the terminal blocks include M2.6 screw terminals manufactured in 5µm-tinned, copper-flashed brass with beryllium copper wire protectors suitable for 16 AWG cables. They also feature guided pin alignment, and allow horizontal or vertical mounting on the header. A test probe facility is also included. The CTB1301/2301 series terminal blocks are rated 10 A/380 V (5-mm pitch) and 10 A/750 V (10-mm pitch) with dielectric strength of =5 MO, and a working temperature range of -20ºC to 120ºC.
