For those needing to fill intricate and unique air gaps, the Gap Filler 1500 resists slumping, dispenses and conforms in place easily, and promises excellent thermal performance: 1.8W/m-K. Upon curing, the thermally-conductive, form-in-place elastomer gap filler is soft and dry to the touch and will not pump out from the interface. It exhibits high shear thinning characteristics to support optimal control during dispensing. Shear thinning is an inherent characteristic that allows the material to readily flow when under a load and then retain its shape after load removal. Additionally, Gap Filler 1500 offers a faster throughput with less pressure required from the dispensing equipment. Standard container sizes include 50-cc and 400-cc cartridges plus 1,200-cc and 10-gallon kits. It is also available with optional 7-mil or 10-mil spacer beads and is customizable upon request.
