In response to requests from fabricators and hard disk drive manufacturers, the firm's R/flex 1000 line of high-performance adhesive system materials are now wire bondable and can handle tens to hundreds of millions of cycles without failure. The R/flex 1000 materials can be used to manufacture reliable flexible circuits with low outgassing and improved dimensional stability for higher processing yields. Together with its R/flex Crystal materials, which are flame retardant, and the R/flex 8080 LP liquid photo-imageable covercoats, the firm is working to support fabricators needing to build more rugged, finer-line and higher density flex circuits.
