Measuring 9" x 1" x 0.75" and weighing less than 0.5 lb., the Loctite 7700 handheld LED light source consistently cures many ultraviolet (UV) and visible-light (VL) adhesives in several seconds. Deriving power from rechargeable batteries or an ac adapter, it can operate while recharging and features remote on/off capabilities. The tool employs patent-pending LED technology, allowing it to deliver instant on/off performance, consistent light levels, and a typical output of 500 mW/cm2 at a wavelength of 405 nm. Additionally, its spectral output promises to virtually eliminate overheating of assemblies and minimize ultraviolet radiation. HENKEL CORP., Rocky Hill, CT. (800) 323-5106.
