Now available for applications in rugged locations, the Variosub family of fieldbus plug connectors includes Interbus, Profibus, and CANopen connectors that meet IP67 protection requirements. The plug-and-play components do not require tools to lock the plug housing to the mounting frame. Other features include integrated EMC shielding and error-free data rates up to 12 Mb/s. Unique terminating resistors and protection circuitry promise maintenance-free operation and a basic switch allows users to switch in the circuitry or fieldbus line.
