Offered as the result of a team effort with Schaffner EMC, the patent-pending ACARA filtered power connectors provide high-frequency attenuation and EMC performance beyond 10 GHz. A unique integral feed-though capacitor design exhibits low series inductance to ensure a high self-resonant frequency. As frequency increases, the impedance of the feed-through capacitor decreases exponentially. Mating similar ACARA connectors of different capacitance or operating voltages can be avoided by way of an optional six-position key. The connectors are available in current ratings of 65A, 100A, 150A, and 250A and capacitance values from 100 nF to 2,100 nF. For more details and prices, call ANDERSON POWER PRODUCTS, Sterling, MA.
