A re-design of the company's 2200-Series mid-size dispense valves yields significant improvements in dispensing and operating performance. Redesign of the one-piece body valves includes the No-Drip, Snuf-Bak, and Tip-Seal fluid-dispense-valve families. It includes a new needle for fluid-flow control and a new bearing-fastening design for the needle bearing. The new needle employs an improved coating for longer needle-shaft and seal life, while eliminating a part for easier assembly. The new bearing-fastener design allows for faster bearing replacement and maintains alignment with the needle shaft for improved seal life. The re-designed valve models are No-Drip 2200-911 and 2200-044, Snuf-Bak 2200-727 and 2200-717, and Tip-Seal 2200-1051. The pneumatically actuated valves are designed to dispense adhesives, sealants, and lubricants. SEALANT EQUIPMENT & ENGINEERING INC., Plymouth, MI. (734) 459-8600.
