Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. introduced high-voltage thin film resistor divider network that offers a compact, higher-precision alternative to functionally equivalent products built on thick film technology.

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. introduced a high-voltage thin film resistor divider network that offers a compact, higher-precision alternative to functionally equivalent products built on thick film technology.

The Vishay Dale Electro-Films HVRD features an absolute tolerance to 1 %, ratio tolerance to 0.1 %, absolute TCR as low as ± 50 ppm/°C, and TCR tracking of ± 10 ppm/°C. Offered in a surface-mount 1206 format, the HVRD is compatible with high-speed assembly equipment, with edge castellation to allow visual inspection of solder joints.

Featuring a high 120 V maximum operating voltage, the HVRD will be used for voltage division in power converters, battery management circuitry, high-voltage test equipment, renewable energy and smart grid systems, and a wide range of industrial applications.

Samples and production quantities of the HVRD thin film resistor divider network are available now, with lead times of eight weeks for large orders.
