A positive, wave solder-resistant insulation barrier between coil and core allows a DHV filter inductor’s core to be grounded using common metallic hardware, even when the coil is energized to as much as 1500 vdc or 600 vac continuously. Five packages closely matching industry-standard bobbin core inductor sizes are available: 14 x 20, 18 x 20, 24 x 20, 35 x 25 and 35 x 35 mm. Inductance values range from 10 µH to 10 mH with current ratings up to 20A.
