High-Frequency Multi-Tap Attenuators Trim Component Counts

Oct. 8, 2008
Designed to eliminate the need for multiple attenuator devices, recent additions to the MTA1225 family of high-frequency, multi-tap chip attenuators measure 0.125" x 0.250" x 0.015" and are available with wire bondable or a solderable terminations.

Designed to eliminate the need for multiple attenuator devices, recent additions to the MTA1225 family of high-frequency, multi-tap chip attenuators measure 0.125" x 0.250" x 0.015" and are available with wire bondable or a solderable terminations. Featuring a high-stability, thick-film resistor element on alumina, the components offer four standard attenuation values on a single chip. Standard attenuation values are 1 dB, 3 dB, 6 dB, and 10 dB and VSWR for all four values is less than 1.5:1 with an attenuation tolerance ±0.5 dB or 10% whichever is greater. Pricing is under $1.90 each in production quantities. For more details, call Bernie Hoy at STATE OF THE ART INC., State College, PA. (800) 458-3401.
