D-Core Choke Series Adds Compact Line

The B8273x series of D-core chokes for lower power ranges has been expanded to include the B82730 UU9.8 core choke series. Special features include a compact design and an excellent price-performance ratio. The B82730 series complements the B82731I, B82732*, and B82734* series. The new series’ high rating of 300 V makes it well suited to applications in the NAFTA region. Long creepage distances, greater than 4 mm, give the choke high dielectric strength. In addition, the insulation materials of the UL temperature class F suits the choke for use in household appliances. Price is approximately $0.72 each, depending on type and quantity.
