A wet electrolytic tantalum capacitor, the TWA features a patented high-capacitance-cathode system that enables high CV designs, reportedly beyond the values specified in the Mil-PRF-39006 drawing. Manufactured and tested to 93026 specs, the component withstands the shock and vibration requirements of 39006. Its design includes a welded tantalum can and header assembly that provides a hermetic seal and the TWA operates in temperatures ranging from -55°C to +125°C. Available in a wide range of capacitance and voltage packages including size T1, custom capacitance and voltage options are available upon request. Pricing typically starts at $35.00 each/50 for standard capacitance and voltage packages. AVX CORP. Myrtle Beach, SC. (843) 448-9411.
