Available in 5- and 6-pin SOT-23 and 2 mm x 3 mm DFN packages, the MCP4011, MCP4012, MCP4013, and MCP4014 6-bit digital potentiometers operate from a 1.8V supply and consume an operating current of 0.3 µA. The devices are viable candidates for handheld equipment and portable consumer designs, as well as applications that were previously cost-prohibitive. Other features include an integral non-linearity of 1/2 LSB maximum, differential non-linearity of 1/2 LSB maximum, end-to-end temperature coefficient of 100 ppm typical, and a typical ratiometric temperature coefficient of 10 ppm.
