New high-current surface mount inductors are designed for use in voltage regulator module circuits with higher speed switch mode applications requiring lower inductance, lower voltage and high current. A flat-wire construction lets the HC7 inductors meet the electrical needs of next-generation microprocessors, high current dc/dc converters, workstations, routers, telecom soft switches and base stations. Inductance ranges from 0.20 µH to 4.81 µH; current ranges from 35.8A to 9.8A; and frequency ranges up to 500 kHz. COOPER ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGIES, Boynton Beach, FL. (561) 752-5019.
