Claimed to withstand larger short-term pulses and higher voltages than carbon film resistors and to be virtually impervious to EDS events, the RC 1/4 and 1/2 series of fixed, carbon composition, non-inductive, low-capacitance resistors are designed to provide protection from high-voltage surges and for suppressing RFI in audio, video and telecomm applications. The RC 1/4 and 1/2 series span a 1 ohms to 22 megohms resistance range, come in ±5% and ±10% tolerances at 0.25V and 0.50V, respectively, and have an isolation voltage of 100V and 500V.
