Magnetic shielding and lead-free construction are among the key features of a new series of power inductors that embrace three different sizes. The first to debut, the 7 mm x 7mm model known as B82472-G, has magnetic shielding and an inductance range from 1 µH to 220 µH. All models also have low dc resistance, a low profile, high current handling capabilities, and operation up to 125ºC ambient temperatures. The 6 mm x 6 mm model (B82462) and 10 mm x 10 mm model (B82464) will be available in either standard or low profiles and in magnetically shielded or unshielded versions.
