Fortified for extreme, outdoor conditions, the ODH24-9-WB horizontally polarized (HPOL) omnidirectional antenna operates in the 2.4 to 2.5 GHz band with a 9 dBi gain. According to the company, HPOL increases the range of the antenna over flat surfaces and minimizes vertically polarized signals produced by electrical and wireless devices. The antenna is also useful in build-up areas that have concentrated interference due to less radiated energy being absorbed by buildings or wires. LAIRD TECHNOLOGIES, St. Louis, MO. (847) 839-6907.
