Snap-In Electrolytics Enable Optimal Heatsink Contact

Nov. 29, 2010
The company’s latest snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitors enable optimal contact to heat sinks.

The company’s latest snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitors enable optimal contact to heat sinks. This ensures efficient cooling of link circuit capacitors, significantly increasing their ripple current capability and operating life.  Via a special winding design, ESR values dip by 30% at 60°C and thermal resistance between base and windings drops by 50%.  Other features include a specially reinforced case, a longitudinal tolerance to ±0.2 mm, and a PET shrunk sleeve for insulation. Pricing is $6 each depending on type and quantity. TDK-EPC CORP., Iselin, NJ. (800) 888-7729.
