Targeting high-end audio applications, the Z-Foil VAR series welcomes the next generation of foil power current sensing resistors. Exploiting Bulk Metal Foil technology, the additions promise to minimize self-inductance and capacitance inherent in all resistors, thereby reducing distortion. Specs include power ratings to 60W, TCRs down to 0.05 ppm/°C from 0°C to +60°C with a +25°C reference, tolerances down to ±0.005%, a load-life stability to ±0.005% at +70°C for 2,000 hours at rated power, and a thermal stabilization time of less than 1s within 10 ppm of steady state value.
