A division of Bridgeport Magnetics Group, Alpha-Core’s latest power inductors win a 30% size reduction using gapped amorphous ribbon cores instead of silicon-steel or powdered-iron cores. The inductors are box shaped, encapsulated in black epoxy resin, and their insulation system is class F (155C). Inductance values range from 100 mH to 5,000 mH and current ratings span to 60ARMS.
