Over 3,500 New CAD Models of Interconnect Solutions Arrive to Help Speed Design
What you’ll learn:
- Insight into the SnapMagic and Harwin partnership.
- Information on new CAD models and PCB schematics.
- Available design formats.
SnapMagic, a Silicon Valley-based AI startup, and Harwin, a reliable connectors manufacturer, joined forces to help further accelerate electronics design by releasing over 3,500 new CAD models of interconnect solutions. The CAD models include schematic symbols, PCB footprints, and component libraries, which were approved by Harwin.
“Harwin aims to support engineers with best-in-class tools and services that simplify and speed the selection and deployment of our advanced interconnect technologies,” said Peter Schneid, VP of Marketing at Harwin. “The partnership with SnapMagic and the integration of the E-CAD tools on our website plays a key role in supporting that goal by providing reliable and integrated data that makes application design and development significantly easier.”
Every component library has undergone a quality-assurance process enabled by SnapMagic’s automated verification technology. All CAD models are available in most design formats, including KiCAD, Autodesk Fusion 360, Allegro, Proteus and more.
Engineers can download the new models instantly by visiting the SnapMagic Search website and searching for their desired product. The models can also be downloaded on the Harwin website via the SnapMagic CAD Viewer, as well as SnapMagic’s Syndication Network partners, including DigiKey, Mouser, RS Components, DesignSpark, and over 30 others.
“Both Harwin and SnapMagic believe that engineers shape the future. By supporting and enabling engineers, our new partnership speeds up the design of new products that improve our world faster than ever,” said Natasha Baker, CEO and Founder of SnapMagic.
