The custom-configurable Flex21 platform is the cornerstone of the OPENblade architecture family of building blocks for carrier-grade Intel, Sparc, and PowerPC systems. It provides a fast path from application development to deployment revenue. Among its features are high slot density, the ability to independently power and cool up to 100 W per slot, and redundant IPMI-based management and alarming. It combines PICMG 2.16 support at gigabit speeds with the H.110 telephony bus. The Flex21 system provides flexibility to meet the platform needs of telecom equipment manufacturers. Base pricing for FLex21 starts around $14,000.
