DIN Module Wears Two Hats

Offering dual functionality, the DIN-rail mount Mini8 operates as either a 4- or 8-loop PID controller or a 32-input data-acquisition unit. It is said to integrate seamlessly with programmable logic controllers, intelligent I/O, and other supervisory control and monitoring systems. Modular in design, the unit provides four plug-in I/O slots and can be used with a PLC, HMI software, or as a standalone component. Other features include ease of configuration, deterministic response, and auto-tune capabilities.
