Sealevel Systems’ SeaPAC-LX provides a modular design and a wide array of serial, digital, and analog expansion capabilities.

Incorporating the latest AMD Geode processor and a modular design, the Sealevel Systems Inc. SeaPAC-LX flat-panel touchscreen computer gives system designers virtually unlimited configuration options and makes field maintenance and upgrades easy. Designers can specify a wide selection of touch-screen LCDs—from 6.4 to 17 in.—and I/O expansion modules that make the computer suitable for a wide range of operator interface and machine control applications requiring small size and versatile connectivity. Each system includes dual 10/100Base-T Ethernet, four serial ports, four high-speed USB 2.0 ports, and eight bits of general-purpose I/O. Designers can chose from reed and form C relays, optically isolated inputs, TTL, analog-to-digital, digital-to-analog, and serial options.

The fanless, 500-MHz Geode LX800 processor communicates with SeaI/O devices using Modbus RTU, allowing one or more SeaI/O modules to be physically attached to the SeaPAC-LX or located remotely up to 4000 ft. away. A rugged panel-mount bezel provides NEMA 4/IP65 protection from sprayed liquids on the front surface. The optional resistive touch-screen enables intuitive operator interfacing. The SeaPAC-LX runs on 12 V dc, with power provided to expansion modules using convenient pass-through connectors. The system is rated for 0ºC to 50ºC operation. A VESA bracket allows attachment to a mounting arm. AVAILABILITYThe SeaPAC-LX is available from stock.
