A major Korean telecommunication service provider will use Ikanos Communications' Fusiv Vx155 processor in its first trial deployment of residential gateways. The Fusiv Vx155 powers Mercury's PHY-agnostic residential gateway, which is designed for use with VDSL2-, PON-, and AON-based access networks for distributing triple-play services in the home.
