The ability to edit, compile, debug and view MATLB files-all within Microsoft Development Studio-is possible with Visual MATCOM V4. The software enables users to perform MATLAB development from within the popular Visual C++ environments. Visual MATCOM includes: editing of the m-files within the integrated development environment of Visual C++; keyword syntax coloring; automatic translation of the m-files into C++ and compilation into stand-alone executable; debugging of m-files using the Visual C++ debugger; viewing matrix data using the Visual Matrix Viewer; and high-quality graphics using the Advanced Graphics option. A fully functional, time-limited evaluation version of Visual MATCOM can be downloaded free of charge from the firm's website.
