The MAX4929E low-frequency HDMI/DVI control switch is capable of switching between two digital video signals going into a single monitor or between multiple HDMI/DVI connectors while maintaining signal integrity. It provides three independent voltage inputs that allow matching of any voltage level without additional components. Packing all necessary switching, logic-level matching, and ESD protection, the device is suitable for use in HDTV receivers and monitors. Features include a 4.5V to 5.5V operating range, two enable inputs that allow the device to operate either in normal mode or a high-impedance state, and ±15kV ESD protection on all external I/Os.
