Reportedly the industry's smallest, the MAX9519 video filter amplifier enables standard-definition (SD) video playback from portable devices to TVs. Available in a 1 mm x 1 mm, four-bump UCSP, the device employs proprietary SmartSleep technology, which reduces current consumption to 1µA in shutdown mode and eliminates the need for external shutdown circuitry. Other features include an integrated fifth-order filter that specifies a ±1-dB passband flatness up to 9 MHz and 48.5 dB attenuation at 27 MHz. The MAX9519 operates from a 2.7V to 3.6V supply and over a temperature range from -40?C to +125?C. Prices start at $0.34 each/1,000. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
